Darwin "Monty" Eisenbarth,
75, Bismarck, formerly of Missoula, Mont., passed away Jan.
26, 2018, at CHI St. Alexius, Bismarck. A memorial service
will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at DaWise-Perry
Funeral Services, Mandan, with The Rev. Allen Wagner
officiating. Friends and family will gather one hour prior
to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in St.
Mary's Cemetery, Bismarck. There will be no visitation, as
cremation has taken place.
Monty was born Sept. 26, 1942, in Bismarck, to Ruben and
Ruth (Grenz) Eisenbarth. He was raised and educated in
Hazelton. On Oct. 19, 1963, he married Lorraine Bender in
Missoula. Monty worked in the lumber industry in Missoula
for 43 years.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; one daughter, Colleen
(John) Montgomery, Missoula; two sons, Terry (Tracy), Great
Falls, Mont., and David, Bismarck; one sister, Sandy Prop,
Birmingham, Maine; two brothers, Arneal Eisenbarth, Houston,
and Lorre Eisenbarth, Missoula; one sister-in-law, Mary
Eisenbarth, Vancouver, Wash.; three grandchildren, Cody
Eisenbarth, Great Falls, Katie (Jason) Miklos, Missoula, and
Joshua Montgomery, Watford City; great-grandson, Roman
Miklos; and many nieces and nephews.
Monty was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carlene
Berry; and brother, Duane Eisenbarth.
