Alan Jake Grenz
Alan, second
son of Jacob and Lucy (Freier) Grenz, was born on July 28, 1933
in a farm home near Napoleon, North Dakota. He was baptized on
January 14, 1934 in the Hope Evangelical Church. Alan grew as a
child and attended a country school in Grenz township. Alan, at
the age of ten years, died Friday October 29, 1943 at the farm
home of his parents. It is thought that Appendicitis may have
developed. Funeral services were held at the Evangelical Church
at Napoleon, ND. Burial was in the Napoleon Cemetery, He leaves
his parents and brother Marvin.
