Mrs. Christina Walker, wife of the late Fred Walker, who died in Texas last April, died at the Germantown Baptist Hospital in Aberdeen, Sunday morning, from malaria fever contracted while living in Texas.

Mrs. Walker was born in Lichtenfeld, Russian, in 1873, emigrated to the US in 1885 and in 1893 was married to Fred Walker.  They made their home in  McPherson Co., where they lived until about a year ago when they moved to Columbia, TX.  Deceased is survived by five children and several brothers and sisters.  The remains were shipped to Leola and the funeral was held yesterday from the German Reform Church conducted by Rev. U. Rene.
