Edgar Jasmer
was born around 1911 to parents Herman and
Lydia (Quaschnick) Jasmer.
1921 South Dakota school records count him as a
10-year-old student in the Spring District number 1-2 in
McPherson County. The family lived in Leola. He was one of
66 students in the district.
He also attended school during 1922 when he was 11. He was
one of 67 students in Spring Township Districts 1 and 2 in
McPherson County, South Dakota.
Edgar was recorded at age 14 for the 1925 South Dakota
Census. He lived in Spring Township in McPherson County
with Leola as the post office. He worked as a farm hand
and attended school, having most recently graduated
seventh grade. Edgar was affiliated with the Lutheran
church.[1]
Edgar was 20 years old when recorded by the 1931 school
records census for South Dakota in the Spring Township
District of McPherson County. He was one of 61 students in
the district.
Edgar died in July 1981 in Aberdeen Township, Brown County
in South Dakota, United States. He was buried in Sunset
Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen Township, Brown County, South
