Born Jan. 12, 1914, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of
the late George William Straub and Erma Viola Fox.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Linder,
in 1987.
She was a member of AARP.
She is survived by a daughter, Jean Hornbaker of Hagerstown;
a son, Harold J. Karn of New Brauntels, Texas; a sister,
Helen Spangler of Hagerstown; a brother, Daniel W. Straub of
Hagerstown; three grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Straub and
Mary Huntzberry; and three brothers, Harry Straub, Charles
Straub and Paul Straub.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Rest Haven
Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. in Hagerstown. Pastor
Everett Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven
Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral
home.
