Death Takes Lydia Nathan In Lodi Home
Mrs. Lydia Nathan passed away at the family home at 436 Railroad avenue at an early hour yesterday morning. She was born in Russia and was 51 years.

The deceased came to the United States with her parents when she was a sall child. They settled in South Dakota, where she was married. She came to Lodi with her husband, the late Richard Nathan about 20 years ago.

Mrs. Nathan was the mother of Mrs. Irene Paez, San Francisco Miss Edna Nathan, Oakland; Henry and Dan Nathan, Lodi; sister of Henry and William Grenz, both of Elk Grove.

Lillian Pfitzer writes:  Richard's occupation was carpentry.  When his mother was widowed for the second time, he built her a small house next to his, where she lived until his death.  At that time, she moved to Sacramento, California to be with her sons Henry and Daniel.

Cause of Death:  Heart Disease.
