A native of Loveland, Colorado, he was the husband of Louise Loercher Trost. He was employed as a Civil Service engineer and was an Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Other survivors are son, Glenn Trost of Virginia Beach; sisters, Eunice Wise of El Paso, Ark. and Beatrice Wiser of Clarksville, Ark.; brothers, Herbert Trost of Pleasant Garden, N.C., Dale Trost of Wark, Ark., Gordon Trost of Greensboro, Ark., and Jimmie Trost of Mabelvale, Ark.
